The Harmonic Study is carried out to check the Harmonic distortion levels in the network and to subsequently identify the Source of Harmonic distortion.
A Harmonic Study will:
Identify the source of harmonic distortion whether from Load side or Source side.
Harmonic distortion shall have negative effect with other network components. It shall verify the same and suggest measures and solutions to avoid the negative interaction.
Compliance with international standards like IEEE 519 or EN 610000
Defining type and rating of PFC equipments for these networks.
Design parameters of Harmonic Filters if required with their rating and Location.
Offering other solutions for mitigating harmonics.
